Distorting rectangular mirror. Dimensions: 200x45 cm. Protected by INPI and EUIPO.
Flat but distorting. Made to measure. For indoor or outdoor use.
While traveling around South America, the designer went with a friend to a café in the popular San-Telmo district of Buenos-Aires. They ate eggs at the bar while they laughed for twenty minutes in front of a mirror so old it showed two laughing clowns. After returning to France, he decided to recreate this moment.
Existing mirrors are made of glass, which is very heavy and complicated to produce. They are expensive, exclusive for fairs, not available in stores. This facility was created to limit its function to clean lines in order to be affordable. The production concept makes the object suitable and displays on the wall a thick plate of polished stainless steel, reflecting like a flat glass mirror but warped, as if polished by hand.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Attach the 2 supplied stands horizontally according to plan.
- attach mirrors to them. The effect may vary depending on the up and down direction
- clean with any window cleaning fluid.
