Product description
The common thread of art and design has now become a hallmark of Antoniolupi's work. More than a fusion, we would refer to two different experiences blended together to achieve a common goal: a unambiguous experience of beauty that becomes part of our daily lives.
Luca Galofaro, architect and teacher, focused his attention on the relationship between representation, urban architecture and image.
The Antoniolupi La Pietra e il Fuoco showroom in Stabbia is currently hosting an exhibition/collection of architectural drawings curated by is Galofaro himself: an important step forward in the company's development strategy.
Now Galofaro "influences" some of Antoniolupi's products with his vision, and the cooperation between him and Andrea Lupi becomes even closer: some architectural drawings from the exhibition have been selected for use in Antoniolupi's mirror collection.
The transformation of some of these works into real furniture objects was a natural consequence of the reflections of Galofaro and Andrea Lupi.
The idea is to transfer the image used to think of architecture as an object of everyday life, building a bridge between imagination, which dominates in art, and life, in which the function of the object dominates on a daily basis.
The update of the collection for 2019 was designed by presenting new dimensions, designs and, above all, colors.
Drawings that go beyond beyond ordinary architecture and become contaminated with anthropomorphic figures.
Dimensions, two new, large, rectangular formats become the heroes of the decoration.
Technique:
The collage technique is based on overlapping fragments. The image comes from the stratification of memory images.
Mirrors are created from overlapping printed glass plates, creating three-dimensional collages. The final mirror layer has established a relationship with the observer, who becomes part of the image itself.
