The inspiration from the agricultural landscape that led architects Irene Goldberg and Pitsou Kedem to develop Mirror Lines, a new collection of six MDF Italia mirrors.
More specifically, irrigated fields and rice paddies seen from above led to architects reviving geometric patterns this world, projecting them onto a creative line of mirrors.
The look is exciting: in the metal frame, next to the light reflected by the mirrors, decorative inserts made of various materials stand out. A furniture solution that exudes vitality and energy, providing an unusual yet original and very engaging overall look.
“The opportunity to work with onyx, steel and other materials allowed us to add nature to our design,” explained the designers. "Marble and brass, so rich and changing colors, seemed the simplest way to pay homage to the fruits of the earth, familiarizing these materials with the rituals of everyday life."
Mirror Lines is a suggestive and customizable collection line to enliven the walls of your home with new geometry and surprising effects, suitable for both classic and contemporary spaces.
Structure and types:
5 mm thick steel structure, powder coated in matte black nickel or pearl nickel colors.
There are six types formal, horizontal and vertical (composition details on the website), which, thanks to their use or design, can create large configurations, also wonderful in terms of appearance:
- Composition 1, L210 D5 H25 cm
- Composition 2, L164 D5 H45 cm
- Composition 3, L155 D5 H30 cm
- Composition 4, L155 D5 H45 cm
- Composition 5, L12 D5 H145 cm
- Composition 6, L32 D5 H140 cm
Mounting to the wall using built-in brackets with multiple drilling.
Each composition, including the 4 mm thick mirror with a bevelled edge, is complemented with decorative elements, in particular:
• BRASS: panel with medium density black fibers, veneered with matte brushed brass sheet with a clear acrylic coating.
• MARBLE/STONE: marble element available in white Carrara marble, Verde Guatemala marble or onyx.
