How is it that a vase continues to attract attention and surprise? The answer lies in CHEMISTUBES, a collection of vases designed by Italian architect Teresa Sapey for the Spanish brand VONDOM. CHEMISTUBES, is based on decontextualization, through increasing the size (scale intervention), using materials other than the original ones (in this case an eco-friendly polyethylene resin material by rotational molding technique) and changing the use for which the object was initially in mind, now gives shape new item. What was previously a laboratory container is now an IN&OUT decorative element. In addition to offering finishes in a wide range of matte or lacquered colors, it also offers the added value of lighting that gives the collection a more interesting accent, creating a surprising, harmonious environment and great elegance for any indoor or outdoor space.
