Both facilities redefine the outdoor poolside seating category. The Borea Lounge lounger is available in two versions: a chaise longue and a sofa, both with a large part of the reclining backrest. The chaise longue has an elongated, friendly form, perfect for one or two people lying or semi-reclining. When you lower the backrest, the chaise lounge becomes a multi-use island where you can sit however you want. The same goes for the sofa, whose design and construction features are perfect for the pool, lawn or even terrace. The supporting frame of the Borea lounger is made of curved aluminum tubes, on which a base of fixed aluminum sheet slats rests. The 6 cm thick upholstered mattress guarantees comfort and is covered in the same way as the entire range of B&B Italia outdoor textiles. The Borea Lounge lounger will be an ideal solution in parks and around swimming pools in hotels and resorts, where architects and interior designers can play with arranging elements as they see fit, creating highly refined scenes and spaces where every guest can interact and relax. Borea is a complete and eclectic collection of garden chairs and tables designed by Piero Lissoni. Numerous pieces of the collection share tubular metal structures with a fluid and seamless design, without joints or gaps, captivating and even emerging in the details right down to the base. Metal bending processes take techniques typically used in the aerospace sector and transfer them to the world of garden furniture, bringing to life a collection with a unique style. The collection includes two- and three-seater sofas, a large armchair sofa, a low small armchair and a dining chair, all with stackable aluminum structures painted in pigeon, sage, clay and anthracite. Comfort is provided by generously sized cushions that are not only soft and relaxing, but are also designed to last. The padding is actually made from a filling of polyester fibers sourced from recycled PET plastic bottles surrounding a polyurethane core of varying densities. To make the padding for the Borea three-seater sofa, you need 510 1500 ml bottles, 390 bottles for the two-seater sofa, 280 for the armchair. The upholstery is an integral part of the design; Inspired by the classic striped cotton canvas of the past that evokes nautical references. Shades range from blue and white in a pure martime style, to natural white, a refined shade of gray and a fresh aquamarine green. Fabrics with "lounger" stripes can be freely combined with fabrics with thinner stripes and subdued colors. Colorful profiles are available in white, blue, gray, aquamarine and red, which gives the upholstery expressiveness and allows for further personalization.
