Product description

The shape of the Banjooli chair is inspired by the mating dance of male ostriches - banjooli in the Wolof language - which spread their wings to show the female their beauty. Banjooli is part of M'Afrique, a range of chairs designed by the designer and produced by African weavers using yarn from fishing nets. All designs are different and original, just like their names. Hand-woven, they are human in their perfection and flaws.
Painted steel base and hand-woven colored polyethylene threads; on PVC pads.
NOTES:
- all elements of this collection were entirely handmade; each piece is unique and variations in colors, weaves and shapes are not considered defects
- some colors may fade when exposed to direct sunlight and although this changes the appearance of the product, it is not considered a defect.
