Nicolette grew from the idea of creating an aluminum chair with light and delicate lines, yet durable enough for everyday use; a time-resistant chair, designed for outdoor use but suitable for a variety of uses; original, well-made chair. Like haute couture clothing, Nicolette shows a certain sophistication while maintaining a simple character that adds elegance.
Ethimo and Patrick Norguet have created a chair that combines a variety of materials and different aluminum processing techniques: aluminum structural parts are injection molded and then assembled using extruded aluminum components. The feature that sets Nicolette apart is the backrest upholstery, a real evolution in outdoor textiles. Thanks to a special industrial patent, they managed to obtain a stiff pleat of the fabric while maintaining its waterproofness and durability, features that are the basis of a product intended for outdoor use. Finally, the backrest includes a teak element, which makes the chair even "warmer" and more comfortable.
This feature of elegant simplicity, combining lightness and practicality with attention to detail and carefully selected materials, makes the chair ideal for furnishing outdoor spaces, as well as for beautifying the living space. The most sophisticated requirements for equipment and relaxation are met in their all-encompassing form. Nicolette is a contemporary take on unconventional elegance.
