Product description

Il Colonnato is a rectangular table made of Minera stone for 12 guests. Available with 8 or 6 legs. For this project, Mario Bellini was inspired by the basic elemental structure in architecture. His design imitated the colonnade of classical architecture, in which a series of columns support a portico, in this case a table top.
The base is a visually closed volume, even though it is materially open.
When viewed from a different point of view, the perception changes completely because the columns no longer overlap and the space appears empty.
It was initially designed only with a classic material such as marble, but Kettal uses two other materials in its more contemporary version.
