Following their debut in the Home collection, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby designed Tobi-Ishi Outdoor, an outdoor version of the iconic circular dining table with a clear Zen inspiration. The design duo are great enthusiasts of Japanese art and culture, and the name and inspiration come from the smooth stones (tobi-ishi) used as decorations in traditional Zen gardens. The table's overhang and vertical, trapezoidal bases set at right angles create a significant sculptural figure that appears to change shape depending on the point of view. Made exclusively of cement, Tobi-Ishi Outdoor is available in two color variants: gray and anthracite.
