Shibusa is an interior series consisting of an armchair and a chaise longue. The bamboo heartwood structure supports the seating area with igusa, a natural material capable of filtering and purifying the air, retaining harmful substances in the environment, absorbing and releasing moisture to create a constant microclimate. Igusa, which has always been cultivated in Japan, is traditionally used to make tatami. For 2023, Paola Lenti proposes a decidedly contemporary version, characterized by a delicate multi-colored pattern.
