Serralunga, together with the French designer Philippe Nigro, has developed Cannisse, a garden armchair with an extremely naturalistic vision. Canisse is an outdoor retreat, a sheltered area where large cushions invite you to linger. An object of contemporary furniture and Italian furniture.
An armchair that will be perfect for outdoor spaces, and its use inside the house will provide a truly eclectic space, which is supported by the design of an extremely decorative backrest, in line with the spirit of "The First, The Original" by Serralunga .
On the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, rushes grow, wild plants with long, flexible stems that sway in the wind and resist. These thin plants are gathered and tied to create trellises used to provide protection from the sun, wind and eyes. These "cannes de Provence", transformed into partitions, "les canisses", were conjured up in this outdoor seating design, taking advantage of their simple and irregular appearance.
