Product description

The Fence-e Nature two- or three-seater sofa has organic forms – such as a die-cast aluminum base – and textural elements that celebrate its affinity with its surroundings, such as a natural-looking solid teak armrest with a sandblasted finish. Each backrest with a painted AISI 304 stainless steel frame is available in hand-woven rope with an exclusive pattern or in natural, untreated willow, used here for the first time. The exceptional comfort of the sofa is guaranteed by spacious seat and back cushions with SoloSoff© padding, a product based on blown polyester fiber and memory foam, as well as a reclining backrest that can be set in two different positions thanks to a manual mechanism inspired by Asian architecture: a solid support bar teak, treated to look like a branch, held in place by two wooden nails. Fenc-e Nature is a continuation of the journey undertaken by Philippe Starck and Cassina to revolutionize the way the classic Sofa has been designed with the increasingly more avant-garde materials.
Defined by Starck as "a lifestyle collection with relaxed elegance", Fence-e Nature includes an armchair, a two-seater sofa and a three-seater sofa, and a coffee table available in two different heights.
Philippe Starck celebrates harmony and osmosis with nature through an outdoor collection inspired by and extremely respectful of the environment. The selection of the most natural materials and high quality create a durable and timeless collection. The Fence-e Nature seating collection is characterized by organic, almost primitive forms and tactile elements, such as the spacious armrest in solid teak, sandblasted for a natural, rough effect. The individual backrest of each seat is hand-woven with rope according to a pattern developed especially for this project; the backrest is also available in natural willow, a living material that has never been used in this context before, to further strengthen the connection with nature.
