Carefully selected construction materials and cushions make the Leaf modular sofa suitable for furnishing places surrounded by nature. Inspired by the lightness of flower petals, the Leaf collection refers to nature and is visible not only due to its shapes, but also the use of sustainable materials. The spacious cushions are covered with 100% green fabric made from recycled plastic obtained from post-consumer PET bottles. Following a circular design philosophy, this fabric is produced in Italy using local suppliers and a unique chemical-free production process. Through a mechanical process, plastic bottles are transformed into small flakes, then into polymers, and then into recycled PET fiber. The use of recycled polyester, which requires fewer processing steps, allows for significant energy and water savings and a significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. Roundness is also ensured by the use of aluminum, an eternal and infinitely recyclable material, which is used in combination with VittEr®, another completely new, sustainable, recyclable and formaldehyde-free material that Talenti has chosen for the table surfaces. The icing on the cake is the unique, 100% Made in Italy material used on the armrests and backrests, which creates a very attractive three-dimensional effect.
