SOLISCAPE SHHH C is a hanging acoustic panel. UNStudio and Delta Light have joined forces to strive to improve human well-being in rapidly changing work environments, where human health and the talent pipeline have become a top focus for employers. Soliscape is an extremely versatile and flexible system, specifically designed to create human-centered environments.
In a given location and from focused work to group presentations, the Soliscape (sound and lightscape) system enables activity-based lighting with acoustic benefits. Soliscape's intention is to create flexible lightscapes that respond to the constantly changing needs and actions of the user, where design is no longer dictated by designers but driven by the user, resulting in a responsive and adaptive design. The Soliscape system combines miniaturization and personalization in a unique design language.
The Soliscape system is a toolkit consisting of flexible components and modules for architects and designers that will enable them to create feasible and functional solutions for their projects; a system that combines lighting with acoustics and connected sensors into an aesthetic solution that can be easily connected to any building management system. The system is also flexible and future-proof, allowing new materials and features to be added in the future.
The Soliscape system is not limited to workspaces. Thanks to flexible configuration options, the system has a wide range of applications and can also be used in hotels, hospitality, trade and public spaces. The system can be configured to best suit each location's daily needs and programming. Additionally, more than ever before, today's spaces are evolving to serve hybrid functions; home and office merge, hotel spaces become meeting places. The ability to tailor lighting and acoustic landscapes for dual or multi-use therefore adds value to many of these spaces.
