Product description
Soundscapes sculpted by insects…
After wandering around the Mut Studio Nature Museum, we were inspired by the entomology exhibition halls and their terrifying insect displays. However, their own mistake would be beautiful and harmless.
Their new project for Sancal begins with the need to solve the uncomfortable problem of background noise, overcoming the difficult balance between sound dispersion and decoration.
The sound-absorbing panels are textile sculptures that are the size of a perfect specimen of a beetle.
Carefully combining 6 product panels, Sancal created 12 different variants of the Beetle. In terms of finishes, various textile combinations are available, using references from the sample cards: Stitch*, Galaxy and Atlantic. The stand is made of oak wood and can be stained in any color from our table.
