The Honken has a new offspring in the X40 and X46, spacious seats in two different heights for restaurants, conference rooms and also for the home.
Thomas Bernstrand, who designed the original Honken family of single, two and three-seaters in collaboration with Stefan Borselius and Johan Lindau retained the solid metal mesh, allowing visually precise steel rods to also form the legs. The Honken X40 and X46 will take their place as free-standing cantilever chairs in any space. The chairs slide easily under any table, and with just a little rocking is enough to keep you from getting tired during long-term use. Cushion made of textile fabric or leather, available with various varnishes.
”The slight inclination of the backrest and the deflection of the cantilevered legs ensure good comfort. Honken will be equally happy as a free-standing armchair or as part of Blå Station's modular furniture systems.”
