Bodysuit is a new project by Sylvain Willenz for Sancal. The name refers to the backrest, which resembles the human figure, especially the back and shoulders. Made of ash wood, several layers of molded veneer give shape to a structure with organic, smooth and simple lines. The uniqueness of the outer surface of the wood and its curvature create the unique details of the first "unupholstered" Sancal chair. The quotes make sense because the Bodysuit is not only available in this finish, but there is plenty to choose from. We present a wide collection from one humanized structure. In addition to the natural finish, it can be stained in all colors from our offer, it is also available in an upholstered version. Additionally, a practical padded textile cover has been created that can be easily removed or put on at any time. Both upholstered options are available in selected fabrics. Its versatility is also defined by its different leg options: metal, wooden and with wheels; as well as the possibility of adding metal arms that can be painted in all the colors from our table. The Body seat is slightly wider than most chairs, making it more spacious and comfortable. In short, a new elegant and minimalist chair that will work well in all types of interiors due to its universal nature and adaptability.
TECHNICAL DATA
Seat
- Wooden shell: high-frequency embossed wood laminate made of crown-cut ash veneer, colored according to our table.
- Upholstered shell: high frequency embossed wood laminate with fixed cover.
Legs
- Wooden legs: solid ash veneer stained to match the wood shell, standard equipped with glides for smooth or delicate surfaces. Glides for abrasive floors and carpets are also available (indicated in the order).
- Metal legs: matt F1 lacquered steel, with glides for smooth and delicate surfaces as standard. Glides for abrasive floors and carpets are also available (indicated in the order).
- Base on wheels: F1 steel, lacquered in an exceptionally matte color. Height adjustable gas piston. Quiet D59mm black and gray wheels with high strength nylon and steel double roller guides.
- Armrest components: steel painted in extra matte F1 color.
Seat cover
- Quilted, removable cover with fabrics.
