The function and contours of Set have been shaped by the world around us. The designers at Studio 7.5 have observed how technology has changed the way we work, where we work and how we move throughout the day.
Material innovations give Setu chairs a unique combination of flexibility and durability. Kinematic Spine uses two types of polypropylene to control resistance and support your body weight while lying down. It bends and flexes with every movement, responding to the body's natural movements.
It is more of a construction element than a textile material. Setu uses precision-tuned Lyris 2 elastomer to create Setu's one-piece seat and backrest. Breathable, flexible woven suspension conforms to your sitting bones for contouring comfort and breathability.
Setu is the Studio 7.5 solution for today's more collaborative, less formal workplaces . From the graceful curve of the ribbon arms to the durable, uncoated H-alloy base, every part of the Setu chair has been carefully shaped and reshaped to ensure that every particle lands in exactly the right place to provide all the desired functionality.
The result is a dematerialized design that uses less material - just 7.7 kg in the case of a multi-function chair - to support people of any height, up to 136 kg. A wide range of upholstery and material options mean you can customize Setu to serve as a focal point or blend into any space where you work or live.
