Relaxation in every form: light lounge chair 119.
Natural materials, such as bent wood and cane, reduced to what is necessary. The 119 chair designed by Sebastian Herkner is a classic Thonet piece of furniture that will leave a mark in any setting. It can be placed individually or in pairs in living rooms as an elegant counterpoint to the sofa. In a living room in a hotel lobby or in a New Work room, it looks right at home. The wide, gently inclined backrest and the deep seat, which reclines at an angle of 5.5 degrees, are optimally designed for a relaxing sitting position. For even greater comfort, an optional seat cushion is also available, which can be attached to the rear legs of the chair.
The design is organically derived from the successful 118 series. For example, the shape of the chair legs, which are rounded at the back and have delicate edges at the front, refers to the shape of the horseshoe-shaped seat base. A curved frame surrounds the seat of the 119 model, similar to the 118 collection; both collections are available with a cane cover or a molded plywood seat. The chair is available in a wide range of stain colors and high-gloss varnishes.
