The 40/4 family welcomed a new member: 40/4 xtra. The best stackable chair in the world is now available in a larger size. For those who like wide and comfortable seats, but do not want to sacrifice functionality and flexibility - the answer is 40/4 xtra.
The new chair retains all the features of the original 40/4 design by David Rowland. Structure, stackability, waterfall edges and impeccable comfort. It also has a strong environmental profile, the chair is FSC certified and has achieved all major environmental certifications (GreenTagCertTM, HPD, EPD) - just like the entire 40/4 family.
40/4 xtra is exactly 1.6" wider and 0.2” higher compared to the standard version of the chair. This small change makes it possible to provide even more comfortable seating in places where space is not strictly limited. However, the dense stacking properties remain unchanged, which allows for quick rearrangement and easy storage on trolleys. Finishing options are similar, the new 40/4 xtra chair is available in veneer, upholstered and semi-upholstered versions.
