Wood is a key, characteristic element of the TIMBA design. The name was chosen because of its phonetic similarity to the word "wood". The legs of the TIMBA table are made of solid oak, in a natural or graphite-stained finish, and are connected to a frame of profiled wood lacquered in platinum or anthracite. The legs are slightly tapered and taper towards the floor. High-quality, natural material gives the impression of appreciation, stability and warmth.
The characteristic of the TIMBA table is a "turntable" placed in the middle of the tabletop. It covers the "Power Bowl" recess, where the power and network connections are located. It also serves as a decorative storage space: you can place pens, notebooks and other necessary items here. If you want to connect any equipment, easily turn the turntable in either direction to instantly reveal and access the connectors.
In addition to the powder-coated MDF model in white or anthracite, a more "real" form factor version is also available with solid oak, so it fits perfectly with the table legs. The vertical cable channel leading from the table to the floor is equipped with a mesh tube. Optionally, the table is also available without cable routing, which makes it an attractive furniture option for cafes or canteens.
The TIMBA table top can be chosen in four shapes: round, rectangular and square with rounded edges, as well as a model with a special square "soft edge" shape. . The smallest table surface is a circle with a diameter of 1 m; the largest one has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 1400 x 3200 mm. This table can accommodate a large team of up to 12 people. In addition to the classic seat height of 740 mm, the TIMBA table is also available with a standing height of 1070 mm. In the standing version, the table legs and frame are reinforced with metal struts that can be painted black or white. This ensures the best possible durability up to the largest tabletop format of 1100 x 3200 mm.
The TIMBA table encourages spontaneity. In combination with a seat of appropriate height, e.g. the TIMBA high stool, you can sit comfortably at this level or simply stand next to it. Coming in and out - sitting or standing - communication always remains at eye level - this is an application that is particularly popular in more informal areas.
