75 rectangular table with a black painted steel base, covered with ash veneered plywood and ash veneered plywood top, straight profile, 30 mm thick, dimensions 90×170. «Tables are usually designed according to a construction logic that includes the use of different materials for the tabletop and top structure, especially in the case of valuable raw materials such as marble and granite. If we think about a classic table with a Carrara marble top, we notice that the legs or support are almost always made of wood or metal. So we thought: why not use the same material for all elements, from horizontal to vertical? This is how Piana was created - a table program that explores the theme of materiality by applying the same finish used on the tabletop, to the support or - in larger versions - to the trestles. The result is a collection with an almost entirely mono-material appearance, deviating from the classic upper support combination. When it comes to construction, it's simple - the metal frame can be covered as you wish. However, each material requires its own special treatment, which depends on factors such as weight and possible working processes».
Foam is a collection of tables where the most important thing is the material. The colors and finishes extend from the top to the entire structure, creating an integral, solid object using only one material. Piana tables in various sizes have a steel frame that takes various shapes: with a round top and a central support or with a rectangular or oval top supported on trestles. A versatile product that architects and interior designers can use as they see fit, incorporating it into their designs, because depending on the shape and finish chosen, the table changes. Round and made of Carrara marble, Piana has a slightly retro style, while oval or rectangular, again in marble, takes on a majestic appearance. Wood brings warmth to versions that prefer this material for tops and trestles, while the combination of steel and HPL creates a simple, linear table, perfect for the workplace.
