Product description

Body and side arms made of extruded aluminum alloy. Die-cast head and flange made of EN 44300 ultra-low copper aluminum alloy and ground aluminum alloy mounting flange. Completely hidden flange for fixing to the ground. An alternative to traditional polycarbonate (PC) used in diffusers to seal the lamp is polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), thanks to which we obtain the features of high transparency, resistance to UV radiation and scratch resistance. A4 stainless steel screws. Subjected to galvanic anodizing treatment divided into separate phases: mechanical satin-finishing, surface degreasing, anodic oxidation and final sealing. The product is painted in a continuous, two-stage painting process (epoxy primer + polyester-based color finish), which allows the generation of a single thick protective coating, which then creates a protective barrier against weather conditions and UV rays. Before the diffuser is attached to Platka products, the surface is pre-treated using an atmospheric pressure plasma process. This process activates the ionic charge on the surface exactly where it is needed, thus ensuring the best possible adhesion of the silicone and removing any residual release agents, ensuring a more durable seal. The next stages are silicone coating and installation of the diffuser on the lighting fixture, the automated process guaranteeing perfect sealing of the lamp.
