The product is painted in a continuous, two-stage painting process (epoxy primer + polyester-based color finish), which allows the generation of a single thick protective coating, which then creates a protective barrier against weather conditions and UV rays. Before the diffuser is attached to Platka products, the surface is pre-treated using an atmospheric pressure plasma process. This process activates the ionic charge on the surface exactly where it is needed, thus ensuring the best possible adhesion of the silicone and removing any residual release agents, ensuring a more durable seal. The next stages are silicone coating and installation of the diffuser on the fixture, the automated process guaranteeing perfect sealing of the lamp.
