Product description

Grin is a solution designed by architects Pio and Tito Toso to directly or indirectly illuminate paths or walls. Includes an Underscore InOut module, providing structure and direction to lighting. The cross-section brings a smile to mind, because it is in fact a product that smiles at architects through its pure, essential form, at lighting designers through the infinite number of available lighting solutions, and at people using the space. Grin integrates naturally with outdoor areas while creating endless lighting configurations, changing the light in terms of intensity, color temperature and even color itself. Perfect for residential and urban applications.
• Outdoor lighting system with direct light. It can be installed on the ground and is designed for use with linear LED sources and general lighting optics.
• The product consists of an optical compartment with LED circuit, an extruded aluminum lamp compartment, a steel base strip, two front covers in extruded aluminum and sheet steel top cover.
• Inside the lamp compartment there are two stainless steel rods attached to the base bar, which give the product high impact resistance.
• The product is anchored to the ground using a steel mounting bar .
• The LED circuit (length L = 1004mm) is powered by 24Vdc (the power supply must be ordered separately) and is completely hermetic (IP68) in a polymer cover with very high efficiency, which allows use and installation even in extreme temperatures (- 30°C at + 45°C).
• The opal light-emitting surface allows uniform, spot-free illumination right to the ends.
• the product is equipped with a cable (L = 80mm) at both ends of the lamp compartment with male connectors and an IP68 female connector with a nut to prevent unscrewing. The housing is closed at the top with a sheet metal cover.
• External parts are subjected to multi-stage pre-treatment: the main stages are degreasing, protective coating of the surface with fluorozirconium and sealing (silane layer with a nanostructure).
• The next stage of painting includes primer and liquid acrylic paint hardened at 150°C ensuring high resistance to weather conditions and UV rays.
• The fixture is attached to the surface/floor using anchor pads (on floors) or using a base strip and a counter plate made of Dakromet- coated split bars with passivation surface treatment to provide even better corrosion resistance (can be ordered separately).
• All external screws used are made of A2 stainless steel.
