Now the iconic Shadows collection by Lucie Koldova and Dan Yeffet is ready to illuminate outdoor scenes. Shadows is a variation on the famous timeless lights found in French studios, and its typology pays homage to this heritage.
Identical in appearance to the original Shadows collection, the new collection is IP54 rated for outdoor use: handcrafted Wooden the body used in indoor lamps has been replaced with a two-piece, weather-resistant dural body, whose subtle form and finish is emphasized by the built-in LED light source. Special integrated connectors developed by Brokis facilitate the assembly of lamps in large sets, as well as their maintenance and cleaning.
The precision of workmanship of glassblowing masters gives the lamps a distinctive, unrivaled character and quality. The lampshades are made of multiple layers of molten glass, each of which is carefully inspected before being blown into the mold.
The Shadows collection includes hanging lamps in four shapes and a wide range of colors. The lamps can be combined into various compositions depending on the customer's needs or used as independent elements of outdoor lighting. The combination of hand-blown glass and classic shapes has given rise to lighting of ageless elegance, whose unique atmosphere is no longer limited to the interior. The Shadows collection is a reflection of the famous, timeless lamps found in French studios, and its typology pays homage to this heritage. The combination of hand-blown glass, hand-made wood and a classic shape gives rise to a lamp of timeless elegance. The collection consists of four different hanging lamps, impressive both individually and in sets, characterized by a hand-blown glass lampshade mounted on a handmade wooden body. Clean contours and finish are highlighted by a hidden light source. The Shadows collection is distinguished not only by a wide range of glass colors, surface finishes and types of wood, but also by the possibility of combining lamps into sets according to customer requirements. They are intended for interior use and, thanks to many combination possibilities, they are perfect for a wide range of installations. The shades have special integrated connectors developed by Brokis to facilitate installation and cleaning.
The art used in production refers to the centuries-old tradition and experience of glass masters. The precise workmanship of hand-blown glass gives a distinctive, durable character and exceptional quality to all Brokis products. Glass shades are formed from multiple layers of molten glass, each of which is inspected by the master glass manufacturer before being blown into the mold. At this stage of production, up to 70% of the obtained quality is achieved. No less attention to detail is paid to the handmade wooden elements of the lamp. Each piece is individually processed by a craftsman in a series of strictly observed production stages. We pay special attention to the selection of high-quality, noble wood and environmentally friendly materials for its processing.
