Product description

Shanghai is an outdoor floor lamp with bracket and optical body made of extruded virgin aluminum alloy. The power supply must be provided externally using a 24 V DC transformer, which must be connected in parallel. Spindle made of AISI 316 steel. Equipped with a proprietary optical system consisting of a PMMA lens. The product is subjected to galvanic anodizing divided into separate phases: mechanical satin-finishing, surface degreasing, anodic oxidation and final fixation. Then the product is painted with a two-layer in-line method (epoxy primer + polyester paint), which allows for the creation of one thick protective layer. This, in addition to prior anodizing, creates a barrier against weathering and UV rays, enabling salt spray corrosion resistance to be achieved well above market standards. Glazing of Platka products is preceded by preliminary surface treatment with plasma at atmospheric pressure. The process ensures that surface energy is activated exactly where it is needed, thus ensuring excellent wettability and removing any residual release agents, ensuring a long-lasting seal. The next stages are the application of silicone and the installation of glass on the lighting fixture, as part of an automated process that guarantees perfect sealing of the lamp.
