The shape of the Pawn closely resembles a pawn in a chess game, but that is also the only similarity. Unlike a Pawn, the Pawn can move freely thanks to the unique Ex-centric rotation system (ERS). Starting as a stationary downlight, the Pion can easily be transformed into a periscope overlooking the room by simply turning the head. The Ex-centric rotation system then allows the Pion to tilt its head, allowing it to spy approximately 355° and tilt up to 90°, so the aiming possibilities are endless. Its elegant appearance combined with energetic color combinations make Pion an instant queen of the room, overlooking the scenery. Like any jewel, this colorful tube serves as an accessory that stylishly highlights the feminine shape. Balanced form and function Pion is available as a semi-recessed version, as a surface-mount reflector or as a plug-in module for our range of magnetic profiles. As a recessed variant, the Ex-centric Rotation system is partially recessed into the ceiling, hiding the more technical part of the luminaire
