Sylt makes the most of the concept of a track capable of powering and supporting multiple lighting elements, providing both advanced technology and expressive beauty. The cross-section of Sylt is only 5.5 x 12 mm. Two copper conductors, co-extruded with part of the thermoplastic insulating material, are visible and at the same time completely safe. A narrow strip of harmonious steel runs along the back, creating a profile and allowing it to bend and maintain various geometric shapes. The track turns into a belt that can be easily bent on the construction site, adapting to any geometric shape dictated by lighting requirements and architecture.
It is possible to freely designate curves with varying degrees of accentuation and winding shapes that combine with richness light efficiency. Sylt is a paradigm shift due to the lack of geometric limitations in its compositions, in its integration with many lighting elements, from the most innovative versions such as Heligoland, to technologically advanced solutions such as Vector, minimal lamps such as Sphere and the diffusing module, until to pieces designed by other designers such as Unterlinden by Herzog & de Meuron, Gople mini and La linea 25 by BIG. This system has been reduced to a minimum in terms of structure, but not in terms of the efficiency it provides.
From one point it can work continuously for 10 meters, guaranteeing the highest freedom of space and optimizing installation. The lighting elements connect to the track via an adapter that combines power, management and mechanics. Can be powered anywhere, providing total flexibility during installation. Minimal mechanical elements help maintain the desired geometry.
Miniaturized electrical and mechanical bridges enable long, continuous runs of track in space. Special mechanical and electronic adapters allow you to manage the dimming of lighting devices in broadcast mode using the Push application, Artemida, 0-10V, Dali remote power kit.
