Product description

Wireless, portable lamp with an oblique metal base and a built-in, rechargeable LED light source. The lamp stands or hangs on a horizontal base that acts as a weight.
Designed for apartment no. 1. 50 in the "Cité Radieuse" Le Courbusier in Marseille, the aesthetics of Phare Lamp focused on the idea of creating a fully recyclable product that would become a versatile everyday companion; one that could suit the style of the facility and improve the everyday comfort of its inhabitants.
Although the flat roof of the building meets social needs, it lacks built-in lighting, where the Phare lamp is the saving grace: light and easy to install transport, design and materials draw inspiration from the roof structure of the Cité Radieuse. Made of aluminum, which is 100% recyclable, durable and lightweight, the lamp ball/shade is made of injected plastic, ensuring long-term durability and safety (for both the lamp and the user). Its design is the result of a reduction process that focused on adding all the necessary parts without adding too much.
