Product description
Anthracite table lamp Carbon. Anthracite coal is a sedimentary rock formed in the form of rock layers originating from the Carboniferous period. Carbon is produced by the decomposition of dead plant matter. Through a long process of pressure and heat, it eventually transforms into the material you hold in your hands. Through the process of photosynthesis, it locks up captured carbon that was present in the atmosphere about 300 million years ago. This particular coal was sourced in South Wales.
