Ivy is a table lamp made of blown glass and metal designed by Lucie Koldova. Inspired by the life-giving beauty of plants, IVY Table is an elegant lamp made precisely in every detail. Nature and its life-giving beauty and strength are the inspiration for a unique lighting concept called IVY. Just as a plant grows and climbs the wall of a house, IVY can develop into various compositions. IVY features a special system of modular components providing a highly innovative approach to decorative lighting in both vertical and horizontal installations.
The lights consist of metal branches in six basic sizes and three shade sizes in hand-blown matte light pink, opal or glass smoky. The collection also includes an impressive floor lamp and an intimate table lamp. Elegant and precise in execution down to the smallest detail, IVY is a technologically advanced lighting concept ideally suited for design and residential applications. For example, in a household, a single, graceful branch can be hung over the dining room table, or multiple branches can be used to create a light curtain. The organic IVY collection comes in many forms and rightly takes its place in the world of artistic, custom lighting solutions.
The techniques used by Brokis in glass production are rooted in centuries-old tradition and require the extraordinary skills of glass masters. The precise workmanship of hand-blown glass gives each product a unique character and unrivaled quality. Glass shades are composed of multiple layers of molten glass, each of which is carefully inspected by the glass manufacturer before being blown into the mold. Triple opal glass lampshades are one of the best materials currently used in the lighting industry. Combined with carefully guarded craftsmanship techniques, the layered structure of two transparent outer layers of crystal and an inner layer of white opal in between gives the glass its unique visual properties.
The installation of glass shades on lamps is very easy, which simplifies installation and maintenance. Branches, ceiling canopies and power cables are available in white or anthracite gray.
