This lamp is a contemporary version of a classic model, originally designed in France in 1945 by Société Nouvelle des Etablissements JUMO. The name JUMO is a portmanteau of the names of the founders, Yves JUjeau and Pierre and Andre MOunique.
The Jumo lamp is absolutely perfect for lighting your desk and living room. Thanks to the universality of the three-jointed lamp, the lampshade can be set in any position up to a height of 41 cm. The position of the lampshade is also fully adjustable thanks to joints. The arms and joints are made of brass and guarantee high-quality lighting for many years. The lamp is assembled by hand and consists of 70 separate parts.
Thanks to high-quality materials such as the Bakelite housing and brass connectors, the solid JUMO lamp weighs 1.3 kg. The only change from the original design comes from functionality: the addition of a push-button switch on the base. Now you don't have to fold the lamp completely to turn it off.
