The Luce Liquida table lamp comes from the metaphorical idea that there is real, liquid light inside the bottle shape, thus creating a mental short circuit of ironic and conceptual allusions. The engraved steel plate (Luce Liquida 1) is a fundamental element of the allusion because it draws attention to the text on it... as with the best bottles of wine, it indicates the combinations, scents and atmospheres it creates.
