Like a graceful, delicate and timeless flower of light, this HIMACS tulip-shaped lamp highlights emotions, technology and high-class materials.
The beauty and grace of the tulip have made this flower a symbol of sincere and powerful love. The English word "tulip" comes from Ottoman Turkish and means "muslin, gauze" as well as "turban". This flower inspired Pierre Cabrera to create "Tulip", the ultimate goal of which was to provide a warm and intimate atmosphere through soft and indirect lighting.
For designer Pierre Cabrera, HIMACS turned out to be the perfect material to create his project while respecting its essence. “I was looking for harmony between material and light. HIMACS provides the desired aesthetic appearance and offers sensitive and soft light dispersion. For me, HI-MACS® is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Thermoforming properties offer unlimited possibilities for spatial and sculptural transformation and multiple finishes. Necessary resources that will accompany me in the creative process."
"Tulip" subtly combines complexity and simplicity, craftsmanship and industrial production. Starting with a sketch, "Tulip" was then made on paper to find the right balance of its curves. After completing the prototype, Pierre Cabrera designed his own special tool that allowed the ellipsoidal thermoformed HIMACS ribbon to intertwine, creating smooth, fluid and almost sensual shapes.
Each lamp is laser designed and comes in different sizes: 'Tulip'20, 'Tulip'30, 'Tulip'40, 'Tulip'50 and 'Tulip'60 for large spaces.
Combining creativity, craftsmanship and innovative materials, "Tulip" combines the latest generation of Beneito & Faure LEDs for 'Tulip'20, 'Tulip'30 and 'Tulip'40 models. The last two models can also be used as wall lamps.
The 'Tulip'50 and 'Tulip'60 models also feature a connected, high-tech lighting system and a Bluetooth gesture-controlled switch/dimmer that can be controlled via a smartphone and tablet to create atmospheric lighting.

- for 50/60 models: LED 9W - 680 lm and 13W - 1033 lm with Bluetooth gesture control light intensity and temperature
