Marquis, the new table lamp designed by estudiHac for Vondom, presents a very distinctive folding system, inspired by the forms of folded paper for developing pleated fabrics, which generates a new textured coating made of basic triangles of shiny polycarbonate.
The effect that light generates as it passes through these figures, is surprising due to the interplay of shadow and light passing onto the surfaces, thus revealing a world of textures reminiscent of pleated fabrics. Marquis, inspired by diamond cutting. Its polygonal shape resembles facets created by cutting. Clear and stylish shapes create a great visual effect. Round or oval, in 2 color combinations, they give the space great dynamics. The soft consistency obtained thanks to polyethylene fibers allows for outdoor use and is also resistant to UV rays.
