Product description

Mappamondi is a light sculpture made of blown glass with hot decorations and a metal base. Earth, air, fire and water. Horizon, sapphire and crystal. Red, Arancione and Amber Yellow. Sandro Chia's luminous orbs convey primal power, attracting and holding the viewer's attention through their gravitational pull. Mappamondi is available as a table lamp and a floor lamp.
Mappamondi lamps focus on the contrast between brown and glass. Bronze embodies the manual, artistic work of a sculptor, while glass obtains its form thanks to the movement and breathing of a master glassblower. Earth brown and ethereal glass combine to symbolize primordial creation at the beginning of matter, light and the world.
