Replicanti is a luminous sculpture made of hand-blown glass by a master from Fornace. These works by Mimmo Rotella have square heads and wear masks or goggles to clearly see the world around them. They watch this with a seraphic, slightly sad expression on their faces. Because they are Replicants, and as such, they are meant to stand still while the world comes to life around them. Replicanti is only available as a table lamp.
Replicanti lamps by Rotella are luminous "characters" that prefer to live in homes rather than museums. These heads, supplemented with technological elements such as goggles, masks, lights and antennas, create a three-dimensional catalog of human types.
