Product description
Andrea Quaglio and Manuela Simonelli, professionally Quaglio-Simonelli, who have been focusing on the design of furniture and other objects for years, designed Medusa for Oluce, a glass table lamp, created on the elementary principle of incorporating a metal dome into a cylinder. The dome contains the light source and the glass cylinder gently distributes the light on the lamp's supporting surface. Medusa reverses the relationship between the bracket and the lampshade. The bracket does not support the lampshade, but it does support it. The dome containing the light source is suspended in the cylinder by an elegant glass fold that ensures a formal and refined purity. The electric cable completes the design, flowing freely from the center of the diffuser and appears to sway with reflections, giving the lamp a sense of lightness. Formal cleanliness for soft and warm light. Jellyfish is available in three color variants: shiny black, satin gold and scarlet red.
