Product description
This table lamp, designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld in 1924, is often called the Bauhaus lamp. Wagenfeld was 24 years old when he was accepted as an apprentice at the Bauhaus workshop in Weimar. Here he designed the first model of this lamp as a solution to the task assigned to him by László Moholy-Nagy. As Wagenfeld said years later, Bauhaus designs were intended to be industrial products, and indeed they looked similar to them. In fact, they were handmade.
