Product description
Monday is a hanging lamp stretched between the floor and the ceiling. Designed by Kristof De Bock, it was first shown to the public in 2018.
The project began by questioning the standard position of a floor or hanging lamp. We were looking for a new starting point. It is almost entirely made of wood. The height of the lamp can be adjusted at the bow.
Technical data:
1. The vertical support is made of Ayous. It has no delicate "buttons" and is quite flexible. It also regains its straight form.
I recommend that the support be 2% to 4% longer than the ceiling height.
2. The cylindrical part is made of plywood. The round elements are cut and glued, sandpapered, polished and then covered with a special varnish.
The height can be adjusted by loosening the metal button at the back.
3. The best effect is achieved with a bulb with a mirror top. It is not very bright and illuminates the interior nicely.
