Product description
Roberto Fallani, artist of "related". Bound like the creative exuberance and comprehensiveness of sciences that interact to such an extent that they reject any code of criticism; limited by a vision itself, made extreme by its countless cultural, stylistic and mnemonic insertions. Fallani's return to the postmodern word lies in the irritation of taste, felt as the "summa" of his experience as an artist-seeker, where everything seems to be in a state of mutation and hybrid. And here the same futuristic hints about shape begin, which resemble a kind of decorative archeology and, again, fantastic thinking about modernity, worthy of "Metropolis" and Flash Gordon. Iron, a symbol of the proto-industrial era of the 19th century, becomes for Fallani a material and a metaphor for modernity, which "goes further" into the past, discovering its aesthetic validity; in this way, the screw and the gear wheel declare their erroneous structural and mechanical purpose, becoming absolute plastic elements, almost a parody of all possible mechanisms. Technological totems, these "luminous sculptures", again suggest the superiority of beauty over utilitarian objects, at the same moment that they transcend the syllogism "beautiful as useful". These sculptures are machines of light, signals pointing to the mystery of the shape shedding history and its dogmas at the beginning of the third millennium.
