Product description

Nur is a lamp compared to a "memory box". This luminous object is a synthesis of the author's collection, which he acquired the photographic medium during visits to the oldest districts of Cairo and Baghdad. Thus, the typical decorations of the "mashrabiyya", an architectural element of Middle Eastern homes that serve as a screen to filter curious glances from the outside, are a source of inspiration for designer Dino Lorusso; which, together with NUR, combines photography, architecture and design. This corten steel lampshade has six sculpted surfaces, each with its own decorative pattern created using waterjet technology. The lamp's structure is made of painted steel to allow the user to customize the product, creating color contrasts that recall the intensity of the places that inspired it.
