millelumen Structure was born from the desire to cover a high-performance LED with a lampshade that would make the best use of the light and direct it optimally. The requirement was to create both directional and general light. Meeting these requirements has finally become possible for millelumen thanks to the pioneering 3D printing process used in series construction:
The lampshade of the millelumen structure is manufactured in Germany using a state-of-the-art 3D printing process. The printing uses a sustainable, compostable biomaterial called liquid wood. This biomaterial has a honeycomb print and a satin shade. This not only provides soft, glare-free light, but also captivates with a special lighting effect: the delicate, printed honeycomb structure refracts light just like a diamond.
Energy for 3D printers is obtained exclusively from renewable energy sources.
The fixture is made of recyclable iron, also produced in Germany. The surface is refined with a special, scratch-resistant powder with a tactile structure.
Thanks to the tilting swivel joint, the lampshade can be freely positioned.
There is a foot dimmer on the cable that dims the replaceable, energy-saving LED board completely without flicker.
