Bent One: A single light disc takes center stage in the Bent One floor lamp. A panel of fluted and colored glass descends into an abstract form, and the simple fluted surface diffuses the light source from within. Set on a simple black steel frame, this extended form can be mounted in two ways - allowing the light source to rise or fall as desired. Bent showcases everything beautiful about glass, illuminated on a simple frame. The fluidity, transparency and pattern of glass enclosed in an intriguing, abstract form. Perhaps his most beloved material; designer Sebastian Herkner has once again expanded the possibilities of glass production in a series of sculptural lamps. The bent series uses straight fluted glass panels, pushing and pulling stationary fluid forms into extended and curved shapes. A unique pattern of thin grooves throughout the panel creates a disc of light, and the LED light source spreads across the glass form. Simply having an upper black steel frame, these mesmerizing glass panels take center stage. Available in two floor lamp versions – with a single or double-sided illuminated glass panel configuration, the curved range is also available in frosted white or smoked glass options. The simplicity of components and materials means that the glass lampshade takes pride of place in your interior. An abstract sculpture that will brighten up long evenings.
