Product description
Designed in 1959 by Fridtjof F. Schliephacke, the berliner bratpfanne® (Berlin frying pan) floor lamp did not have easy beginnings. Designer Fridtjof Schliephacke delighted the Berlin scene with just the small-scale production of 100 lamps a year, starting in the 1980s. Particularly fascinating: its multifunctionality. As a symbol of identity for many intellectuals, it has been rejected by mainstream consumer society. Today, the »frying pan« is once again a true Berlin classic.
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Schliephacke berliner bratpfanne®, it has been reissued in a limited Schliephacke edition. The edition, available in beige, gray, blue and red, is limited to a total of 250 pieces. Special feature: individually engraved brass ring on the lamp holder with an individual edition number.
