Product description
Stick is a new collection of lamps designed by designer Matali Crasset for Fabbian Illuminazione. It is derived from an Ayous wood module whose shape is inspired by the shape of a pair of pincers: two curved elements extended by a central support. “This detail – explains French designer Matali Crasset – is the vocabulary that brings to life a collection of lamps based on its repetition. While the texture of the wood allows for the dispersion of soft and warm light, the repetition of the modules creates the effect of unexpected graphics and shadows. “This product line evolves by reinterpreting different types of lamps, such as floor lamps, wall lamps, pendant lamps and table lamps. It all starts with a single module that behaves like a flexible material: in this way the light source is covered and "tamed", and the veiled light disperses from the smoothness of the wood. The collection consists of a table lamp, a wall lamp, four floor lamps and five hanging lamps with four different shapes of lampshades. The light is dispersed using a frame decorated with Ayous wood slats. The lamp structure is made of coated metal. The pole of the floor lamps is made of Toulipier wood or entirely of coated metal. The bulb is energy-saving.
