When the Japanese designer Nendo invented the Mogura lamp, whose name means mole, he imagined the shape of a tunnel dug in the ground in which a light source would be placed inside the structure. The matte black birdcage-like design is available in a variety of circuits. Suspended from the ceiling or placed on the floor, it creates a play of light and shadow.
