Product description
theoretical lamp, equipped with the appropriate measure of geometric abstraction required by the object to maintain its courtliness. The geometries chosen by Stefano Casciani are primitive, ancient, perhaps sometimes filtered through the suggestion of cubism. Color (even white is a color here) is an essential and consistent basis: it highlights the volume and highlights the profile. The simplification of the form actually protects the core, which is complex from a manufacturing point of view (double window blower mold) and lighting engineering (with differentiated optics such as switches and sensor, grazing, dimmer).
In the tabletop version, a small slit raises the glass above the tabletop and casts a sharp, circular shadow: a detail that cannot be underestimated.
Lu-Lu can be ordered, can be omitted completely, and therefore textured, or turned on and thus dissolved, but also only lit in its upper half (the light rests on the heavy) or in its lower half (the heavy rests on the light).
Floor lamp. Murano glass diffuser. Brushed metal base. Chrome-plated metal stand. Double switch/dimmer.
