Sometimes the gesture outweighs the form. Eliminating the switch is one of those elementary but effective, unusual and ingenious gestures: the Switch lamp is turned on and off by turning the metal lampshade. Formally, it proposes "informal", a reinterpretation of the table lamp, in which the diffuser is built into a metal strip and highlighted with shiny black and white finishes, especially ancient gold. Switch resembles a historic but forgotten piece from the Oluce collection, the 282 lamp designed by Paolo Caliari in the 1960s.
